This Privacy Policy explains how Scene collects, uses, shares, and stores information when you use scene-data.com and any related applications, profiles, portfolio features, notifications, subscriptions, or other services we provide (collectively, the "Service").

- account and authentication information, such as your email address, authentication provider, provider user ID, session details, and account security signals
- profile information, such as your username, display name, bio, avatar, privacy settings, onboarding state, and notification preferences
- portfolio and community activity, such as artists you add, long or short positions, entry and exit dates, simulated returns, follows, follow requests, alerts, feed activity, reports, artist requests, favorites, store activity, and Credits balances or claim history
- subscription and billing metadata, such as your plan, subscription status, billing period dates, and payment processor customer or subscription identifiers; payment card details are handled by our payment processors and are not stored by us in full
- device, browser, and usage data, such as IP address, browser type, device information, referring URLs, interaction data, logs, and analytics events
- cookies, local storage, and similar technologies used for authentication, preferences, analytics, fraud prevention, and product functionality
- push notification data, such as your browser push subscription endpoint, public keys, permission status, and delivery status data
- communications and support information, such as emails you send us and signup or mailing-list status where applicable

- operate profiles, portfolios, artist pages, community discovery, alerts, and sharing features
- calculate simulated portfolio data, Credits eligibility, streaks, rewards, and store access
- process subscriptions, trials, billing flows, and subscription support
- send transactional emails, product communications, and push notifications
- sync signup and mailing-list information with our communications tools where enabled
- analyze performance, understand usage, fix bugs, and improve the Service
- detect fraud, enforce our policies, investigate abuse, and comply with legal obligations
4. What Other Users Can See
Scene includes public and social features. Depending on your settings and how you use the Service, other users may be able to see your username, display name, avatar, bio, public profile, portfolio activity, ROI badge, purchased profile items, follows, and shared links.
If you set your profile or portfolio to public, or if you share portfolio links or artist share cards, related information may be visible to other users and to anyone with the link.
5. How We Share Information
We may share information in the following circumstances:
- with service providers that help us run the Service, such as providers for hosting, infrastructure, authentication, storage, analytics, payments, email delivery, CAPTCHA, and push notifications
- with authentication providers when you choose to sign in with a third-party provider such as Google, Apple, or X
- with other users or the public when your profile, portfolio, favorites, or activity is visible based on your settings or direct sharing actions
- when required to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, safety, and security of others
- in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, sale of assets, or similar business transaction
6. Cookies, Analytics, and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember settings, measure product usage, improve performance, and help protect the Service. Some functionality also uses browser local storage to remember UI state or claim status.
If you block cookies or related browser storage, parts of the Service may not work properly.
